03:36 AM EST, 02/01/2023 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing (BA) secured a $24.4 million US Army contract to remanufacture/recapitalize selected CH-47F components to the CH-47F Block II configuration, according to a Tuesday notice posted on the US Defense Department's website.

The contract is also for the remanufacture of CH-47F aircraft to the CH-47F configuration for ordering periods 1 and 2 to satisfy the congressional requirement.

Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, and work is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 2026.
